PUP graduates excel in March 2026 LEPT

Seven alumni from the College of Education of the Polytechnic University of the Philippines-Sta. Mesa, along with 6 graduates from various satellite campuses, landed in the top spots of the March 2026 Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (LEPT) at both the Elementary and Secondary levels, according to the results released today, May 12, 2026, by the Professional Regulation Commission.


Notably, in the Secondary level, Aljohn Mañago Vergara clinched the Top 2 spot with a rating of 95.00%. He was joined in the top ranks by fellow Sta. Mesa graduates Lester John Carmona Mabajen (Top 5, 94.20%), Marychris Guadalupe Tolibas Uayan (Top 7, 93.80%) and Kristian Paul Alcantara Espejo (Top 9, 93.40%), as well as Kaye Torres Capisonda from PUP Ragay who secured the Top 6 spot with a score of 94.00%.

In the Elementary level, Abegail Evora Saguno (PUP Unisan) and Hannah Mae Paguio (PUP Ragay) both placed in the Top 5 with average scores of 93.80%. They were followed by Roselyn Sabariza Dulfo of PUP Ragay at Top 7 (93.40%).


Adding to this list, four graduates shared the Top 8 spot with a rating of 93.20%: Ma. Dhaffny Mae Guiatao Tutaan and Gerald Camata Teaño from PUP Sta. Mesa, Paulo Alde Dayao from PUP Cabiao, and Arabelle Lusing from PUP Unisan. Rounding out the list was Mary Joy Jacobe Lacson of PUP Sta. Mesa, who snatched the Top 10 spot with a 92.80% average.


Beyond individual achievement, the PUP Sta. Mesa secured the eighth spot among the top-performing schools in the Secondary level for institutions with 100 to 299 examinees, achieving 95.33% passing rate. In addition, PUP Mulanay was also recognized as the Top 5 top-performing school in the category of 50 to 99 examinees with 98.08% passing percentage. Both campuses successfully met the PRC's stringent criteria of maintaining at least a 90% passing percentage.
