Not Paying Attention

You speak of crimes and hunger
As we bring new people alive everyday
Our leaders teach us combat strategies
While your masters tell you how to escape
And you complain, everyday
Yet you need pretty alibis to not participate in action
You never realize your own crimes
And you are never put in jail
But your no-pardon atrocity is inaction
You dream you’re not part of a nation that suffers
But you eat dirt from the hands of the poor
And feed the conquerors banquets
And sail in your enormous boats
You float while the rest of us sink
Yet you never dare to stop and think
And it’s always the same old arguments you bring
Spit on the way we hold our guns
You accuse us of murder and call us a terrorist organization
But where are the killings actually happening?
Oh, were you not paying attention?
You sleep on a hundred million death beds
It’s a new pain again for us, every time you wake up
There’s no point arguing with you
Whichever mountain you think our finger guns will take us
